I’m working on a post to share with you about our silent auction fundraising event last Saturday. It went very well and we raised $1,200. God is good!
Unfortunately, The Queen of Procrasti-Nation (me) didn’t place her Just Love coffee order in time for the event. It arrived Monday…two days too late.
What a bummer that now WE have to drink it all.
I’m really sad about that.
This time, we ordered a sampler (whose 6-oz. varieties will appear soon in our store, each paired with the cutest Christmas coffee mugs ever!) and a bag of African Skies blend.
I wish I knew how they did it, how the roasters at Just Love manage to wrangle such incredibly complex, multi-layered flavors from a coffee bean. It’s like they have some kind of special Coffee Magic Wand that brings essences to the surface that no one else realizes is lurking there.
Nice healthy dose of antioxidants this morning, coupled with the fresh blackberries I picked up last night.
If Just Love coffee were mediocre, I’d still support them because they are such a generous company, giving us $5 per bag that people order through our storefront. The fact that they do this says a lot to me about their integrity, and those are the kind of businesses I want to support.
But if it was just mediocre, I would not dedicate blog posts (with photos) to it. So please know–it’s really good stuff. It’s worth your money.
Friends invited me to join them at Starbucks last night, and it was the first time I’ve had their coffee in a while. Compared to Just Love, Starbucks tastes rather flat, in my opinion.
So if you’re a fan of Starbucks, try ordering some Just Love and brew it yourself, at home. You’ll save a ton of money, have a better cup of coffee, and help us in the process.
What could be better than that? 🙂
