Another Malaria Update and a List

I am so happy to report that our daughter is improving!

She requested food yesterday, and kept it down, and is slowly but surely regaining her strength. They even estimate that she’ll be able to be released from the hospital tomorrow.

So thanks be to God, and thanks to all of you for praying on her behalf!

(Now, let’s take all that prayer energy and storm heaven’s gates for that court date to be set ASAP!)

Also, many of you have asked about items the orphanage needs, that I can bring with me when I go for the adoption process. So I have made a list of the items most needed right now:

Pencil sharpeners

Colored Pencils

Backpacks or other tote bags (soft styles that will fold/pack easily)

Spiral notebooks

Toothpaste (preferably the kind for sensitive teeth)

Dental Floss

Bar soap

Neosporin and other first aid ointment

Underwear (boys and girls, sizes youth 8 through adult medium)

We should have two big suitcases devoted just to bringing over items they need, so let me know if you have anything you’d like for me to take to the kids.

Thanks again!
